Choose a dual degree in social work and health promotion, education and behavior to assess and improve the physical, psychological and social health and well-being of individuals and communities.

Offered through the Arnold School of Public Health and College of Social Work, the program will prepare you to further the empowerment and autonomy of communities by promoting health-related, economic and social justice information through teaching, research and service. Both schools develop graduates equipped to make a difference in people's lives.

What You’ll Study

Two complementary and distinct programs provide graduates with skills both in individual and family case management and in program planning, implementation and evaluation. Students engage directly in service through practicums and internships. Our graduates are employed in hospitals, health departments and health care corporations.
