Educational Practice and Innovation, Ed.D.

Educational practice and innovation bridges theory, research and practice. It promotes excellence and innovation in teaching, learning and leadership across K-12, higher education and other instructional settings.

Continue working full time while completing this flexible doctoral program designed to address relevant organizational, curriculum and instructional issues. Choose from one of four concentrations: curriculum studies, education systems improvement, learning design and technologies or STEM education. A dissertation to demonstrate advanced research is required.

What You’ll Study

Curriculum Studies explores curricula through theory and diversity understanding. Education Systems Improvement uses improvement science to solve systemic problems. Learning Design and Technologies uses researched methods to create and evaluate technology-based teaching and learning. STEM Education solves problems of practice within STEM learning.
